The Rancho Swing Arm Pendant.
A clever pendant solving a familiar problem — a jointed swing arm extending from the ceiling canopy lets you reposition the lampshade horizontally, so the pendant can hang exactly where you want it even when your junction box isn't in the right spot.
Layered wood + metal disc shade brings rustic warmth to the industrial swing-arm hardware.
See it come to life.
Hang your pendant exactly where you want it.
When the J-box isn't where the lamp should be.
Most rooms have one fixed ceiling junction box — and it's rarely positioned exactly above the dining table, kitchen island, or reading chair where you actually want the pendant to hang. Hardwiring a new J-box means cutting drywall, running fresh electrical, and patching ceilings.
The Rancho's jointed swing arm wires into your existing J-box at the ceiling, then extends outward in two pivoting segments — letting you reposition the lampshade horizontally to wherever you need light. Center your dining table, hover over the kitchen island, swing aside for cleaning. No drywall work needed.
Industrial meets rustic.
Black metal armature, warm wood disc shade.
The Rancho pairs the industrial functionality of a black metal swing-arm armature — articulated joints, exposed pivots, draftsman's-lamp mechanics — with a softer, layered disc shade alternating wood and metal tiers. The result reads as both functional and decorative, fitting equally well over a farmhouse dining table or in a modern industrial loft. Pairs effortlessly with industrial, modern farmhouse, transitional, mid-century modern, and warm-eclectic interiors.

Quick questions.
How does the swing arm actually work?
The Rancho mounts to your existing ceiling junction box like a standard pendant. After install, the two jointed arm segments can be rotated horizontally to reposition the lampshade — the canopy itself rotates 360°, and the elbow joint between segments lets you fine-tune the reach.
Adjustment is manual — push the arm into position by hand. There's enough friction at the joints to hold position; reposition any time without tools. Maximum horizontal reach is approximately arm length + 90 cm — see the dimension diagram for exact specs.
How is it installed?
Hardwired ceiling mount — connects to a standard ceiling junction box via the round canopy. Wiring is identical to a regular pendant: connect line, neutral, and ground. Position adjustment happens after wiring by hand-rotating the arm segments. Professional electrician recommended for the wiring step.
What kind of bulb does it use, and is it dimmable?
One E26 or E27 standard screw bulb (LED recommended; not included). Dimmable when paired with a dimmable LED bulb and an LED-rated wall dimmer.
Can the cable be extended?
Standard cable from the swing arm to the shade is 150 cm / 59″. Cable length is extendable on request for higher ceilings — contact support@Lia.com with your required drop length before placing your order.
